Next Court of Honor-- July 28, 2015

End of year / Holiday Court of Honor in December

Court of Honor
Finally the hard works pays off. Court of Honor is the time for the Scouts to receive their rewards/rank advancements for all their responsibilities and accomplishments. It is a very formal affair, but since the boys lead the ceremony, it's still a lot of fun. Scouts are encouraged to bring family and extended family, and stay for the reception and take lots of photographs. The photographs are especially important when building your Scouting Scrapbook. Make sure you get good photos with your leaders and friends! The Court of Honor "typically" lasts an hour to an hour and a half.

There is always a Cut-Off date for Court of Honor. Each Scout is responsible for his requirements and that the proper signatures and dates are recorded in his Scout Handbook. The recordkeeping within the Troop must match the same at the Council office. Last minute changes can create unnecessary chaos. There are no exceptions. These records must be kept in order so that we can provide accurate records to the Denver Area Council. If you have any questions, please see Mr.Witt or Mrs.Miller. Please look through your Boy Scout Handbook thoroughly before you speak to an adult leader. Many of your answers can be found in the book.
